Why I Love Music

It would be utterly impossible for me to fully explain why I love music. Not enough words in the dictionary nor paper in the world. On top of that, I think my reasons are endless. Music can make us smile, make us cry, warm our hearts, give us chills, console us, enrage us, make us dance, and give us soundtracks by which to bone. But whatever way you slice it, music moves us. And I never feel this more than when I see a small child dance. It may sound corny, but watch the video and try not to smile. The following performance is from the geniuses at La Blogotheque and their much acclaimed Take Away Shows (where they take great indie artists and throw em into elevators or buses or courtyards and have em perform).

Menomena "Wet and Rusting" note: if you're not smiling by about 2 minutes and 40 seconds in, then you're probably a robot.
