If you haven't already heard of these guys, you probably will in the near future. The guys at Mission Creek have snagged 'em for a satellite show for this year's awesome Mission Creek Festival. Combine that with a an EP that received an 8.7 from PFork and a full-length to come in the summer, and you've got a recipe for success. Garnering a lot of comparisons to CSN&Y and Grizzly Bear, Fleet Foxes' songs are usually full of gentle acoustic picking/strumming and complex and gorgeous harmonies. The song "White Winter Hymnal" conjures up an image of walking through Lord of the Rings-esque forests, accompanied by singing hobbits and elves....it's cooler than it sounds, although, to be honest, that sounds pretty cool to me.
