Bruce, The Second Coming?

Ever since I was young I've always "stolen" my music from my brother. Well folks, I've done it again. He clued me in on this band, The Gaslight Anthem, a couple weeks ago and I have not been able to stop listening since. It's like Bruce Springsteen and Alkaline Trio had a love child. This band hails all the way from New Jersey, just like their biggest influence The Boss, himself. However they also derive their sound from other notable artists such as Tom Waits, and fellow New Jersey-ans Thursday. My favorite song by them "Blue Jeans and White T-Shirts" (how Bruce Springsteen is that?!) is off of their 2008 EP Senor and The Queen. Other songs to make a point to listen to are : "I'da Called You Woody, Joe" off their first album Sink or Swim and also "Wherefore Art Thou Elvis" which is also off their EP Senor and The Queen. Here's their video for the single "I'da Called You Woody, Joe"

And also a video for "Blue Jeans and White T-shirts" (not their video, a student made it for a project, but pretty awesome none-the-less)
