Yet another music video post

Hopefully many of you have had the chance to listen to musical masterpiece that is Beirut since their second, and may I add, spectacular album The Flying Club Cup. Zach Condon has honestly started something genius, in my mind. He's combined European gypsy music, indie folk, and alternative rock into this huge mastermind of instruments and vocals. It's really something you just have to experience.

I've been doing a little music video searching during the procrastination which is my finals week, and I'm going to give you a little treat. Here is Beirut's Elephant Gun. I hope you like classical ballet inspired dance, creature masks, confetti, and amazing vintage costumes.

PS: Zach has cancelled his European tour for this summer due to the complications in the part-time band and their 'perfection.' Although I am more than upset about this, as I am studying abroad in about a week, I'll be very interested to see what he is going to come up with during his time off. Maybe a new CD soon!?
