Cover Me!: Seabear Does "Teenage Kicks"

I'm guessing most of you haven't heard of Seabear yet. Seabear started out as a one-man folk-pop band from Iceland, and is now a seven-man folk-pop band from Iceland. Seabear is also awesome. They have a ridiculous knack for being able to turn any tune into dreamy, worry-melting, bedroom sized songs that surprise you at every corner with little sparkles of lyrical genius ("human skin can be hard to live in"). Seabear's most recent effort, The Ghost That Carried Us Away, is one of my favorite albums of all time. For reals. Here, the Icelanders take their tried and true formula and apply it to 80's UK punk band the Undertones' song, "Teenage Kicks."

Seabear - "Teenage Kicks" (Undertones cover)

The result: pure gold, baby.

Fun Fact: Iceland is actually quite lush and green, whilst Greenland is ironically icy and barren! Who'd a thunk?!
