Bono, Damien Rice, and Glen Hansard perform in Grafton Square on Christmas Eve for charity

I love stories like these that show that some musicians have really big hearts.

Twentyfourbit reports: "Dublin, Ireland’s famous Grafton Street became the impromptu venue of a superstar jam session the other night among three of the country’s biggest music stars. U2’s Bono, Damien Rice, and the Swell Season’s Glen Hansard busked for passersby turned stunned onlookers this Christmas Eve to raise money for Simon Community, a homelessness prevention charity." They performed songs like "Knockin' on Heavens Door" and "Stand By Me." Check out the whole story and a video HERE.

Damien's O album was one of the best released in the last decade. He sang with such pain and passion, and he is truly one of the best singer-songwriters in the world. I'm looking forward to new material by him.
