Attention all Iowa Citizens:

Happy Spring Break to everyone, If you don't have a warm beach and cold drinks too look forward to this next week, here's something to look forward to after the break when school is back in session--The Mission Creek Festival is just around the corner. March 30th-April 3rd. Iowa City will be FULL of great bands, poetry readings, writers, and other various art. So, if you feel like you aren't culturally immersed enough, I would suggest checking it out, this place will be swimming with so much to do, you won't know where to start.
The lineup of acts is insane. Many well-known musicians will be playing as well as other local bands. It's a great way to spend your week. Your friends here at SCOPE will be collaborating with the Mission Creek folks to put on two shows, talented singer/songwriter Anni Rossi (4/3) and former Pedro the Lion front man David Bazan (4/1).
The fancy thing about Mission Creek is you can buy a pass for the whole festival, in case you're planning on going to a lot of events. You could buy one of those and spend less than you would going to the bars every night. Hope to see you all there.
