The Young Veins have outgrown their emo past

If Ryan Ross and Jon Walker hadn't left Panic at the Disco in July 2009 because of creative differences, they never would have created The Young Veins, a vintagey pop-rock band. Their debut album is called Take A Vacation (out June 8th), with a catchy, classic vintage feel reminiscent of the Beach Boys. They are also opening for Rooney this summer.

SPIN Magazine has recently announced the Young Veins as one of the top 30 bands to see at Bonnaroo. But they aren't the only ones talking about them. 3According to SPIN, " The buzz around the Young Veins attracted L.A. indie rockers like Jenny Lewis and members of Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeroes to the band's first-ever show earlier this year."
