Most musicians who are successful learn to dominate a genre, that is the extent of how far they will go sonically. However some musicians cannot be contained by the box that is performing inside of a single style of music. Enter Dallas Green, the shredding guitarist and angelic singer for the band Alexisonfire. Dallas not only has his rock band with Alexis, but he also has his own solo project called City and Colour (get the joke, Dallas= City, Green= Colour) where he writes heartfelt folk songs for people of all ages to enjoy. Dallas is going into the studio later this year to record his followup to the amazing Bring Me Your Love, but for now we have to scour the internet looking for live examples of what is to come.
