Still Aren't Sick of Them, Either...

So earlier (immediately preceeding this post, actually), Kappy posted a link to Feist's Wednesday night performance on Conan. I was lucky enough to (albeit accidently) catch this performance as it happened.

Story goes like this: I, in all my infinite fandom, knew that Augustana would be performing their new single "Sweet and Low" (which will probably become as big of a hit in the SCOPE house as "Boston" was at the beginning of the academic year) on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

So, tuning in, excited to see a live performance of a song off an album as highly anticipated as Augustana's Can't Love, Can't Hurt, I happened to catch a preview for the Late Show immediately following. I thanked my lucky stars! Augustana, followed by Feist? Could it get much better?

Well, anyway, I felt it was only fair to give the readers of the blog the true experience, as I had it. Here's Augustana's Leno performance from the same night as Feist's Conan performance:

You know me too well Lee. The cd is on the SCOPE computer and I highly suggest that everyone gets their hands on it. Check out "Twenty Years" and "fire" if you are in the mood to cry. "where love went wrong" and "hey now" are also two solid tracks.

That was ok. SCOPE should have The Drive-By Truckers again.
